Outdoor Wood Furnaces from Central Boiler
Hettinger's Backyard and Power Store has an alternative to high heating bills with Central Boiler wood-burning furnaces and energy-efficient products that can cut your electric and fuel expenses. Wood, because it is a renewable source, can even reduce your net carbon footprint. Wood obtained through sustainable forestry practices and burned in a Central Boiler high-efficiency boiler/furnace results in no net carbon dioxide increase in the Earth's atmosphere. While burning wood releases carbon dioxide, a natural balance exists as new trees absorb the CO2 and because the wood -burning furnace is outside, the air inside your home remains cleaner.
You can keep the air outside your home cleaner as well if you choose an E-Classic 3200, E-Classic 2400 or the E-Classic 1450. These models are qualified under the Environmental Protection Agency's Phase 2 Program because they are approximately 90 percent cleaner than other outdoor wood-fired hydronic furnaces. Besides The E-Classic's extremely low emissions per BTU of heat delivered, this line of Central Boiler outdoor furnaces uses 50 percent less wood than traditional wood heating.
The Central Boiler Classic outdoor wood furnace is normally positioned 30 to 200 feet away from your home or business, but sometimes as far as 500 feet. The Central Boiler furnace works with any existing heating system. A water jacket surrounding the furnace firebox circulates heated water to the home or building through insulated underground pipes. Water-to-air or water-to-water heat exchangers, or direct circulation, conveys heat into a building's boiler, radiant floor heating system or forced-air furnace. You simply use your normal thermostatic control for safe, clean, even and comfortable heat.
